ATLANTA -- Pancakes will soon be stacked like jets at the world's busiest airport.

California-based International House of Pancakes LLC, commonly called IHOP, plans to open its first airport location at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Slated to open Sept. 10, the new restaurant will take about 3,000 square feet in the airport's main atrium. It will be an IHOP Express, one of the company's newer concepts that caters to guests on the go, and will be open 24 hours a day.
