Club Entrepreneur Global Network Launches Local Chapter in College Park

College Park --  (submitted by Gerald Walker)   The City of College Park announces the formation of Club Entrepreneur Global Network, an association of new and seasoned entrepreneurs who promote the expansion of local businesses.  The event will be held Thursday, June 23 at 6:30pm in College Park City Hall.

“Part of College Park’s strategy is to assist and grow small businesses within our community, says Barbra Coffee, Economic Development Director of College Park. “ The entrepreneurship element is critical to our success.”

According to Coffee, “Club E” meetings will offer networking and business related workshops.  Powerful business brokers will share tips for successful marketing and negotiating, skills that are essential to make a business flourish.

“It’s hard work being an entrepreneur.  If we can provide a forum for them to come together and support each other, then that’s exactly what we need to be doing,” Ms. Coffee said.

Club E is a global network that connects entrepreneurs to the financial and support resources available. Through local chapter meetings, a global online social network and inspiring how-to-television programming featured online, Club E gives legs to the probability of strengthening the success of small businesses everywhere.  In Georgia, entrepreneurs comprise 46.4% of private sector workforce.

Club E satellite organizations are being founded all over the country, forming partnerships with local governments, businesses, colleges & universities and small business associations.

Coffee says the goal is to open new businesses in downtown College Park, including Club E offices.  “Club E and the College Park Entrepreneurial Development Center anticipate opening its doors in College Park in late summer,” she added.

To kick off the inaugural chapter meeting, Max Howard, Emmy® award winner, actor, speaker and author of Building Great Relationships from A to Z will address the group.

Registration is free. Space is limited.  For more information on Club E visit: www.clubentrepreneur.net  or contact: Bob Johnson – 678.895.3109.
