If you had a rough week, take your date to Range, Guns and Safes to blow off some steam. Every Wednesday, this range, located in Forest Park, costs $10 for the first hour of target practice for male/female couples. Subsequent hours are $12 each.

Harlem Globetrotters Brought their B-Ball tricks to Philips Arena

This past Saturday afternoon my kids and I headed down to Phillips Arena to watch my favorite baskeball team, the Harlem Globetrotters!

They were up to their usual shenanigans and popular basketball player Special K was there again talking crap on the court, lol. They had fun games going on with fans, jokes played on the opposite team, it was something to see and we never miss it when they visit the Atlanta area.  CLICK HERE FOR ALL THE PICS AND THE COMPLETE STORY! www.TalkingWithTami.com

Register for the free Walk Georgia program and Start Getting Fit

Cobb County, GA--  (submitted by Cobb Communications)  The successful fitness program Walk Georgia is back and residents are encouraged to participate and move more for healthier lives.

Walk Georgia is a free eight-week program sponsored by University of Georgia/Cobb County Cooperative Extension. The program is designed to increase physical activity in a fun, community-oriented way. Participation is available as an individual or in teams of four. Participants can log exercise virtually at walkgeorgia.org and the program translates activities, such as aerobics classes, walking the dog and a pick-up game of basketball, into "miles." Through the online map, participants can electronically chart a course as they "walk" across Georgia, learning interesting facts about the counties visited.

This will be the only Walk Georgia program held this year. Online registration for the program is open Feb.
