Atlanta Weather | A Perfect Weekend

The weekend is finally here and it is going to be a beauty! It seems like it has been one continuous week since we had tornadoes until last Saturday morning... Thankfully we don't have any of that mess in store for us this weekend.

Short Term

Tonight we will have clearing skies with temps falling off into the 30's and 40's. There is a freeze warning in effect for the NW section of the state which means to take care of the little budlings and seedlings. In the actual city tonight we will stay well above the freesing mark, mainly upper 30's. In the suburbs and some of the valleys in the NE we will get down into the lower 30's and upper 20's for a very light freeze. Tomorrow will be sunny with light winds from the east and temps will make it up into the low to mid 60's. Thought about going with an 11 but am going to stick with a 10 for now. Sunday will be another beauty with temps starting in the upper 30's and lower 40's and ending up in the mid 60's. I can tell you exactly where I will be, on the golf course with some friends enjoying some sun and male bonding!!

Mid Range

Monday the rain chances will come back as an upper low that is sitting out west will begin to move towards the NE. Some energy from it will sag down across N Georgia and bring the rain chances back into the picture on Monday and Tuesday. Temps will stay on the mild side with highs in the 70's!!

Saylight Saving time

Remember to turn your clocks forward one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night. You will lose an hour of sleep but will gain an extra hour of sunshine starting Sunday afternoon. Also change out your smoke alarm batteries. Yes this will affect most everyone's sleep so stock up on coffee!
